SDS-P5080N is a 16 channel Samsung Security System. It is an all-in-one surveillance system and it comes with everything you need in the box. The DVR system comes with 8 night vision security cameras(SDC-5340BC). These Samsung Surveillance cameras are all rated IP66(Weatherproof) and record up to 82ft range. The SDS-P5080N comes with 10BNC Siamese cables for all 8 of your included surveillance cameras. SDS-P5080N is using a BNC cables. Because of the BNC connectors, it is also one of the most versatile Surveillance DVR systems available from Samsung's DIY line of security systems. The system comes with a 1 TB Seagate HDD and it utilizes H.264 compression technology, giving you a long recording time. The DVR security system is simple to set up and simple to use. Very simple to install. Picture quality is excellent day or night. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is because you cannot view the cameras on a Macbook. It works fine though my Ipad, my daughter's Iphone, and my Android phone....but not on a Macbook. This is due to lack of support of ActiveX.

Other than that, it's a fantastic product.

Simple to learn, incredible lifetime Samsung tech support, simple to install, brilliant night vision, expandable to 16 cameras, extra cameras are extremely affordable (under $50 each) and lightening quick shipment. It will pay for itself with one incident! My troublemaker tenants went out very quickly after this system was installed. I quickly witnessed unauthorized subletting, pets and smoking. Parking lot violations have all but disappeared. All other tenants on their best behavior and feel much more secure. Terrible guys despise these systems. . A local paint grafitti spree avoided our property but not our neighbors! I like this system! Thank you for a game changing product.

They are excellent quality especially for the price. Simple installation but hooking it up thru the Internet was hard. Excellent buy.
