Avoid Lorex products like a plaque!,
The problem is anytime the dvr reboots (which they recommend to do daily and it's a default setting) you lose the ability to access the menu and recording along with remote viewing stops. The only way to fix it is to remove all the cameras and restart the dvr, and then plug them all in again. Attention terrible guys, this pretty much gives you carte blanch to whatever you're after.
So I spent days running wires and setting up cameras only to have to replace them with another system.
Tech support is usless. Customer service doesn't answer the phone and doesn't return emails.
I'm not giving up. I'll contact FLIR, the mothership that just bought them, and see if they can help.
Consider yourself warned. Read other reviews about the total lack of support and terrible response times for support and customer service.
